SAME BEGINNING CURRICULUM - Divided by age group
Headstart is open to dogs 6 months and older and Beginning is an "all ages" class, means there could be puppies as well as adolescents and adults in the class, too. We open age groups on days that might have low enrollment and to give families with new pups and adult dogs a place to bring both to the same class.
PUPPY CLASSES
PUPPIES - under 6 months
(Yes, Preschool age pups may attend Puppy K):
Your baby puppy under 6 months of age may start as soon as you have your vet's permission. This class covers all the basic foundation skills plus support for normal puppy concerns like mouthing, biting, crate training and house training.

Registering with a friend or family member?
There is always the worry that when multiples register together, they might also all cancel together, turning a class of 6 to a class of 3. Occasionally it means the instructor is left with no class at all, cancelling a class entirely. Please plan to continue your class!
Dogs from Preschool, Kindergarten and Headstart ALL go on to Intermediate Prep as their next class. See schedule below!

WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON OUR 2024 SCHEDULE - STAY TUNED!

WHY NO REFUNDS AND A STRICT TRANSFER FEE POLICY?
We try our best to be able to accommodate everyone's needs, but in this day and age of complicated schedules, we are faced with having to become more strict regarding cancellations and transfers due to an abundance of last-minute schedule juggling. Often the next month is mostly full, not because of the new students registering, but because of so many transfers from the previous month. This is incredibly frustrating for new students trying to register, and hard on the bottom line. Empty seats due to last-minute cancellations mean lost income every month. Allowing a postponing student to take a place in a future class for a nominal transfer fee still means we lose the income that someone else would have paid full price for in TWO classes - the one you didn't attend and the one you attend instead. When registrations fall apart, we're scrambling at the last-minute, calling wait-list people and trying to make everyone happy. Small business is not for sissies!
