Day fourteen

This is what waiting looks like.
Which means I have lots of time to supervise the crew. Shhhhhhh !

This is the sound guy who prefers I not bark or snore when they are shooting. He is always yelling at planes and birds and searching for humming fans and anything else that makes noise after they say "action!"

That's Sheryl - she keeps notes and writes numbers about EVERYthing. She is in charge of something she calls "continuity." (Was his hand on his chin? Did he pause before he turned left in the last take?)

That is Juan's adorable cracker-eating-might-share-if-I'm-cute-enough daughter.

And Barbara - American Humane's protector of animals and children ... and crackers.
And from yesterday - the exploding christmas light sequence:

Stan waiting while they discuss some christmas light thing.

Waiting.

More waiting.

Talking to the crew about how it's going to go.

Crew listening and watching.

The big bang.

A little bigger than
they thought!
Stan was cool. He ducked and shook it off.
Day 15
The camera display died - so only two new pics today -
One of Dave's foot (he was trying to figure out what was wrong with the camera)

And, since I couldn't snap pictures not knowing whether the flash was on, I waited til the very end when I could go across the street and aimed and hoped for the best - and caught this shot:

In the window you see the family gathered around the Christmas tree. Dave, Alexa and Abby in the window, sound guy on the porch, guys in second floor window dropping fake snow, camera crew and 1st AD in foreground, still photographer on red ladder. This shot was taken at 11:30PM last night. Stan was "wrapped" for the day and they were still getting the last shots as we were leaving.
Today we will take pics with a new camera!
Day 16
It will take some getting used to the new camera, so bear with me!

Yup - you're catching on - this is us waiting ...

downstairs ...
And more waiting upstairs - here I'm supervising the wardrobe continuity girl who is printing the pictures they take of all the actors after every scene. I don't wear clothes OR need my hair done, so they don't need to put me in their album.

Practicing going to an indicated mark (that rock and several others) in the back yard.

On my 'mark' - and doing my great 'ta-daaa' with a 'rest your head'! Three, three, three tricks in one!

Oh, it's good to get out and stretch!
