Stage one - beginning level - 4 wk session - $90 per dog
For families and their dogs who have not attended a previous training class at DITR or anywhere else.

Choose one, according to your dog's age at the start date of class:

Preschool for pups under 4 1/2 mo.
Puppy K for puppies under 6 mo.
Headstart for older pups and adults of any age.

Identical class curriculum, Puppy & Headstart classes are
divided to best meet the developmental stage of your pup.
PPS & PK include free play socialization in each class.

Stage two - intermediate - 4 wk session - $80 per dog
For families and their dogs who have attended a beginning level (PPS, PK OR Hdst) class at DITR or another school using reward based training methods.

Prep school - clicker training! - step two for entry level grads.
Build on the foundation you've laid in the first class session.

Stage three - advanced - 4 wk session - $70 per dog
For families and their dogs who have completed a clicker training class at DITR or another school.

Skill Building Levels Classes - Many great classes - choose to fit your interest and training needs. Canine Good Citizen, Dastardly Distractions, Paw & Order (come when called), Performing Arts (freestyle) and more! Advance as you go! Have fun using all those new skills - polish and perfect!

If your child's soccer game or unexpected guest caused you to miss a class, you may make up on another class in the corresponding week. Or if that isn't possible for your schedule, we offer 1/2 hour private catch-up sessions.

Struggling with a particular training challenge and need some extra personal assistance? Was your dog so hyper or distracted in class this week that your understanding of the lesson was lost and you'd like some concentrated help with your dog?

Schedule a Jumpstart Session

We train your dog at our training studio for you while you observe. As your dog progresses, we coach you on maintaining his performance. Your dog benefits by learning from a skilled and experienced dog trainer. Your dog is spared the pitfalls of you learning to be a dog trainer while at the same time trying to teach your dog. Email!!

Dogs should be pre-enrolled or currently attending a class session.
$30 per half hour. 24-hr cancellation required.
Sessions are often scheduled back-to-back so don't be late!

Would you like an experienced trainer to come to your house to work with your dog?
Day Training

Let us do the hard work for you! We will train your dog in your own home and neighborhood while you are at work or play, whether it’s some basic manners or a serious behavior problem.

You do not have to be present for these sessions! At the end of each week of training, we will schedule an owner transfer session. An owner transfer session is where we teach you the skills to attain the same results we have achieved during the week.

• Day Training programs are customized for each individual dog/owner situation.
• Though the program is designed for the trainer to do the a large amount of the work, the owner is required to follow management instructions and practice some training exercises during the week.

Coaching

Let us teach you how to efficiently and effectively train your dog. We will meet with you once a week and help you develop the skills needed to change your dog’s behavior. Coaching is recommended for those dog owners who have the time and ability to work with their dogs throughout the week. Coaching works best for dogs in need of basic manners or mild behavioral problems, but the owners are not interested in attending a group class.

For more intensive behavior concerns: barking, biting, housetraining, destructiveness, etc, we also offer private
Behavior Consultations in your home.
