Since I occasionally receive calls from students saying,
"I'm thinking about getting another dog" ... and even more often
people calling saying, "Do you know anyone looking for a (fill in the blank)?"
I decided that what this site needs is a way
for those people to communicate with each other.

This is a forum, you may read and reply to any post.
You may leave whatever information you need to, including a URL,
for the person to go look at a picture of the animal
if you have a way to scan and post one.

And don't forget to leave a way for anyone interested to contact you!

If you make a successful placement or find the right pet,
please post a follow-up to let everyone know
- and maybe an update on how the placement is working out.

This forum is open to individuals looking to place a pet, rescue
organizations, shelters, etc. This is not an "advertise your litter" site.
For other avenues for finding or placing a pet, here is a list of shelters and rescue organizations.

Many placements aren't successful because not enough thought went into the decision.
