BEHAVIOR 101 LECTURE SERIES

Our instructors set aside time in every class to answer behavior questions. But many of our students want to know more! For this reason we offer our Behavior 101 Lectures three Fridays per month to answer your pressing behavior questions in depth. You will have the opportunity to have your individual questions addressed. It's the next best thing to an in-home consultation!

 


Lectures are held monthly on Friday evenings, 6:30-9PM
One night, 2+ hour behavior lectures for owners only, dogs stay home.

Positive Solutions for Problem Behavior
Positive techniques to address the day-to-day challenges in living with your family and your dog.
Causes and solutions for common problem behaviors like barking, digging, jumping up,
destructive behavior, counter thieving, escaping, running away, and more.
Problem solving strategies and an overview of how dogs learn and how best to teach them.
One 2-hour class - $35 per family - owners only, dogs stay home

Leadership Without Dominance
Surviving Adolescence and Implementing Leadership

Just beyond puppyhood and extending well into the first year, you may find your patience wearing thin.
This class will help you prepare for the months of normal adolescent testing and help you establish
a balanced and healthy working relationship with your dog. Also covers questions regarding
social skills, dog-dog issues and dog-people issues, territoriality and stress-related issues.
One 2-hour class - $35 per family - owners only, dogs stay home

Canine Communication, Dog Park Etiquette & Safety


When: MAY 9th, 6:00PM at REI on N. Monroe

Why does my dog do that?? Do you want to learn more about what dogs are saying to each other, to other animals, and to you? Learn how to identify red flags and how play safely and be your dog's advocate at the dog park. This power point presentation will include photo stills and videos to help you learn canine communication, dog park etiquette and safety!
